Thanks, as always, for the info. I get emails from Creative Live but just save them for when I have time (sure!) to read some crafty news, so I usually never read them! I’ve loved My Mind’s Eye products for a long time, so this should be fun to watch. Like you, I’m not too into the party decor stuff, but I may get some ideas for decorating for the holidays and for my girls’ parties.
You’re welcome! I can relate to the “I’ll read that when I have time” emails, LOL. I get a lot of those – too many. See you there, Nadine!
I don’t know if I’m happy you told me about this two day class, or not!! I haven’t been able to watch all of it, but whenever I’ve been around the house, I’ve tuned in.
Like you said, it had a lot of party stuff that isn’t my cup of tea, but I did get some good ideas I may use. What I became obsessed with, though, is the 7 foot paper garland Candice created. She made it all out of cardstock and then mounted it on foam core board, and I think it is so different and striking. I want to make it but I don’t know if I could figure out the right dimensions for the templates for the leaves, flowers, etc. without buying the class. I love the way she’s teaching as she is very calm and laid back, but I can’t justify spending $69 just to be able to make the paper garland. There is a kit of the cardstock used on the MME website, so at least I’d know the different color papers used.
ONE LAST THING, if anyone wants to buy any of the new stuff from MME, you can use the code MYMINDSEYECL through Thursday at midnight to get 25% off everything on their website!
Repeats of the various class segments are still running right now through the end of the day. Candice is now doing the Instagram album and then she’s going to talk about planners-fyi.
