I’ve posted before about my love of the amazing product, THE SCRAPRACK. I bought one years ago and it’s made all the difference in keeping my scrapbook products organized. {HERE is an older blog entry about it}.
I do have a lot of my items in vertical Cropper Hoppers stored by manufacturer … my 20 or so favorites like Pink Paislee, My Minds Eye, and October Afternoon.
For the (many) things I have that don’t fall into those main manufacturer categories, I use my Scraprack to sort them by theme. It’s so nice so be able to say, “I want to scrapbook a Christmas layout,” go to my Scraprack, turn to the Christmas/Winter section, and find all kinds of papers and embellishments that go with that theme. Sure, I might have some Christmas stuff mixed in with my MME or October Afternoon vertical file, but who wants to go digging through there? LOL If I know I’m working with a theme, my Scraprack is the first place I look.
Anyway, I follow the Scraprack BLOG and the owner, Tiffany, recently posted the BEFORE AND AFTER of her scrapbook room makeover. In this particular entry, she doesn’t go into detail about the Scraprack (there are other posts on her site that do, though!). But it was fun to follow along with her photos and see how she put her room together. My favorite things are the handpainted flowers on the walls, and the cute flowerpot cart that she uses to hold tools and pens. I also agree with what she says about having a big room and needing to make it “smaller” to maximize your efficiency when you scrap. Great job, Tiffany!
